$10 for 10 Jira Users. Wow! #Atlassian #getstarted

Richard Vowles just told me about an offer that Atlassian are running. $10 for 10 users on Jira (Bug Tracking) and a bunch of their other products (Confluence, Bamboo, etc). I’ve used Jira a little and have been very impressed, same with Confluence. They seem to be permanent licenses, and full product (not limited features, etc). Plus the money goes to charity. Very much worth checking out.

  • Not quite as cheap or as worthy, but for anyone looking for issue tracking/project management that “just works”, I would highly recommend fogbugz, from FogCreek software.

$25 per user per month for a hosted system or from $199/user self hosted (it’s a web app).

For teams of 1-2 users the hosted service is entirely free.

A plugin-developer license (self hosted up to 3 users to be used for the sole purpose of developing plugins to extend the fogbugz system) cost me just $20 (US).

  • Minor correction… unless my memory is playing cruel tricks on us, the per user cost of a self-hosted install of FogBugz has recently gone up to $299!! 🙁

  • We are using Jira in our office for 3 yrs now and found it quite good..
